Dr. Stevens has achieved some notable firsts in cosmetic medicine. She was one of the earliest practitioners to introduce barbed suture lifting procedures to the Pacific Northwest. She was the first physician on the West Coast to combine Thermage and Portrait with barbed sutures, producing enhanced, synergistic results, that exceeded results with any of the procedures alone.
Dr. Stevens is recognized as one of North America's top Thermage practitioners. She has performed more lower body Thermage procedures than any doctor in the world.
Dr. Stevens is a board certified internist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Cardiology, a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging, past Secretary of the American Medical Meso-Lipotherapy Society, and a member of the Cosmetic Surgery Society of the Northwest. An honors graduate from the University of Texas School of Medicine at Houston (1983), Dr. Stevens spent 11 years practicing in the United States Navy and 15 years as an intensive care specialist. She has focused on cosmetic medicine exclusively for the past 10 years.
